Homemade Cheese and Pepper Pasta
This simple pasta dish of cheese and cracked black pepper is one of my family’s favorites. If you’ve ever been to Rome, you will see this dish on practically every menu. It is simple and fast to make. Once your water is boiling, it is a 5 minute preparation – serves 4.
12 oz of whole grain thin spaghetti
3 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
3 Tbsp unsalted butter
3 tsp freshly cracked pepper
3 heaping cups finely grated Grana Padano, Pecorino, Piave, or Parmesan cheese
juice of 1/2 lemon
lots of fresh parsley, finely chopped
