Authentic Hungarian Walnut Roll Recipe
Growing up, walnut rolls were always a part of our holiday celebrations. We tend to make them anytime now! This recipe calls for: Pastry: all purpose flour, salt, cream cheese, unsalted butter, granulated sugar. Walnut Filling: ground walnuts, sugar, milk and butter.
Like I said, these are often served at Christmas, but can be served anytime of the year if you wish (I would anyway!). Would be nice alongside a cup of tea – this recipe is real easy to make, just follow the instructions below!
