Jeans tend to wear out around the knees, and kids they can grow out of an inseam pretty quickly. Cutoffs are easy to make, but without hemming them, they can look sloppy or unfinished.
Supplies:

- Cotton Fabric scraps (amount depends on the size you’re making
- measuring tape
Ashley from Make It and Love It shows how to make cut-off jeans shorts with a knotted fabric hem. It’s a good project to eke an extra season out of a pair of jeans that have become too short. The knotted fabric bands are a cute way to finish the hems. You could make them to coordinate with a top you’ve made, or just use a bright fabric that makes you happy.
