When is the right time to drink ginger tea? Ginger and honey – literally my favorite to sip when I feel chilly or run down with a cold. So, what will you need: fresh ginger root, water, heavy cream, honey, Freshly ground Cinnamon and nutmeg (optional). Yes, heavy cream (Not healthy I know! Who cares!). A homemade ginger tea is excellent in soothing stomach aches and in aiding digestion (obviously without the cream!).
A quick tip in terms of buying ginger: if you have access to Asian markets, then buy your ginger there.
