Talk about the WOW factor! They would be great for Showers, Birthdays, Anniversaries and what about Easter – in fact it’s worth having an event just so you can serve them.
For the Chocolate Cake: butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, buttermilk, sour cream, water or brewed coffee, all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt.
For the Chocolate Shells and Assembly: chocolate candy coating, toasted and skinned hazelnuts, chocolate molds (can substitute spherical cake pans instead)
For the Hazelnut Mousse: semi-sweet chocolate, heavy cream, Nutella chocolate-hazelnut spread, salt, unflavored powdered gelatin, water, toasted and skinned hazelnuts.
