Grandma’s Cherry Cobbler
There is something about cherries that reminds me of things old-fashioned. Grandma in the kitchen with a measuring cup covered with a dusting of all-purpose flour, and a pot of something aromatic simmering on the stove.
This recipe calls for…. Filling: fresh Tart Cherries, sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, allspice, cornstarch, water and vanilla extract. Biscuits: all purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, butter, egg and milk. Topping: sugar and ground cinnamon.
