Monkey bread is a delicious sweet bread. Quite why it’s called monkey bread is somewhat of a mystery. Still, my favorite explanation is because you pick it apart and eat it like a monkey?! Buttery bun dough rolled in lemon sugar, baked, and covered in a thick lemon glaze. The perfect make ahead breakfast, brunch or dessert!
