Slow Cooker Gooey Caramel Sauce
I love easy desserts with limited ingredients and this caramel sauce is just that. Honestly I think it’s the easiest dessert I’ve ever made. Almost too easy to call it a recipe, but it is a recipe. So I’m sharing it from theyummylife.com because you really need this fantastic stuff in your life! Your basic ingredients will be:
- white & brown sugar
- light corn syrup (this is not the same thing as high fructose corn syrup; it’s no better or worse for you than regular sugar)
- vanilla
- salt (the basic recipe has a small amount of salt; for a “salted” caramel sauce, simply add more salt)
- sweetened condensed milk
- butter
- lemon juice
