Building a bunk bed is an easy to moderate project that will take you a day or two to accomplish. How much it will cost varies greatly on the lumber and materials that you choose to get the job done. Tools – Table Saw, Miter Saw, Jig Saw or Band Saw (to cut curves on ladder), Router with 3/8 inch roundover bit, Orbital Sander, Pneumatic Nail Guns, Air Compressor, Drill and Driver with Bits, Kreg Jig, Optional – Planer in conjunction with sanding (really a nice convenience if you have the tool).
